1. What items can I find on Desa Home website?

Desa Home presents you with artworks, including works by old masters, contemporary paintings, graphic art, photography, sculpture, comic books, and illustrations, as well as items from the following categories: furniture, antiques, industrial and vintage design, and all kinds of accessories that shall give character and a complete make-over to your home.

2. Why should I buy at Desa Home?

All items you see on our website have been carefully selected by Desa Home’s Team of Specialists, consisting of the best art historians, conservators, and experts with many years of experience in valuing and confirming the authenticity of artworks. When buying at Desa Home, you can be sure that the items come from a trusted source and that their value has been properly estimated and checked by us.

3. Where do the items come from?

All items presented on Desa Home website come from collectors. They are from a trusted source, underwent proper selection and, if necessary, conservation. Their value was carefully estimated and checked.

4. Can I see the items put up for sale via Desa Home website in person?

Of course. All items available on Desa Home website can be viewed after making an appointment with our Customer Advisor at Desa Home’s office. The office is open from Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 19:00 and on Saturdays from 11:00 to 16:00. However, we advise you to promptly make a decision about the purchase, as the items are unique and cannot be booked.

5. How can I pay for my purchase at Desa Home?

You can pay for the items purchased on Desa Home website using a payment card, instant payment, or traditional transfer. If you buy an item at Sales Office of Desa Home, it is also possible to pay in cash.

6. What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are specified next to the item on Desa Home website. Our items are individually packed and shipped in order to ensure their safety. Therefore, the shipping costs add up. Accordingly, if you buy two products and their shipping costs are respectively PLN 29 and PLN 99, the total price is PLN 128. Items from the “Poster” category are exceptions and may be securely packed into one package, consequently shipping costs do not add up and you pay only for one delivery.

In special cases, if we do not specify the shipping costs, the item is captioned “Ask for Individual Transport Estimate”. Give us your zip code and we will provide you with the best transport offer. Unspecified shipping costs result from the specific character of the item you are interested in. Our aim is to make a thorough risk assessment of the transportation in order to provide you with the safest delivery option. Keep in mind that due to material and artistic value of our items, all shipments are insured.

7. Can I pick up the item in person? If so, when?

Yes, it is possible. In order to do so, please select the "Personal Collection" option when placing your order. We will notify you when you can pick up the item in a separate e-mail. The estimated time of preparing the item for pick-up is 1 - 3 working days. Personal collection is free of charge

8. Do you ship your items internationally?

Yes, we ship most of our items abroad, also outside the European Union. The checkout process includes completing the delivery address form. After you complete it, we will automatically calculate the shipping cost of a given item based on your zip code. The cost of shipment includes the actual cost of the courier service with insurance. This cost does not include customs and tax fees related to importing the items to the destination country. These fees mainly apply to countries outside the European Union and are individual for each country.

Pursuant to the Act of 23 July 2003 on Protection and Maintenance of Historical Monuments (Journal of Laws Dz.U. of 2003 No 162 item 1568), we ship the items marked as "Domestic Shipping Only " solely within Poland.

In special cases, when the item is followed by the caption "Ask for Individual Transport Estimate", we estimate the shipping cost based on the zip code provided by you. Individual pricing estimate to oversized items and items that are fragile or made in a special technique. Remember that all our shipments are insured.

9. When will my item be sent?

Most items are shipped within 48 hours from the date on which the payment has been credited to our account. The maximum estimated time is 5 working days. The time of delivery within Poland is usually 2 days. To check the status of the delivery, use the tracking number that you received in the email.

10. Where can I check the shipping status?

You will receive an email with a tracking number that will allow you to track your delivery online. In the case of individual transport estimates, you will receive an email with transport details.

11. How do you deliver items purchased at Desa Home?

Rea Art Logistics, a company with many years of experience in the transport of artworks, is responsible for the logistic services of our store. We deliver our items through reliable courier companies and trusted subcontractors. In special cases, the items are delivered by Rea Art Logistics’ specialized fleet. All our transports are insured. You pay for transportation upon the payment for the order. The customer receives an email information when the shipment process starts.

12. Do you properly secure the item before the shipment?

Rea Art Logistics, a company with many years of experience in packing artworks and fragile items, is responsible for the logistic services of our store. Each item is carefully and professionally packed. Proper packing takes time but guarantees safe transport. Packaging materials are selected individually, depending on the type of item. Packages are marked with the label “FRAGILE GLASS, HANDLE WITH CARE”. Please check your package and its contents upon the delivery from the courier. If your item is damaged, write a Shipping Damage Report in the presence of the courier and contact us.

13. Can I return a purchased item?

All items purchased via Desa Home website, pursuant to Art. 27 of the Consumer Rights Act (Journal of Laws Dz.U. of 2014, item 827 as amended) may be returned without providing any reason. You will receive a refund within 14 days from submitting the declaration of cancellation. The purchased item should be sent back to Desa Home, properly secured and packed. The buyer is responsible for the costs of returning the item.

14. Can I submit a complaint about the item?

Items that are damaged or do not match the description on Desa Home website are subject to complaint. Please fill and submit the complaint form to the following address: [email protected] along with photos of the damage / defects of the items and inform us of the expected solution. The complaint, in accordance with applicable law, will be considered within 14 days.
