Emil Krcha
"Still Life with Fruit" ("Still Life III")

Emil Krcha studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków from 1919 to 1925 under the supervision of Teodor Axentowicz, Stanisław Kamocki, and Ignacy Pieńkowski. For several years, he lived and worked in Paris, where his first solo exhibition took place in 1931 at the Zborowski Gallery. He was a member of the "Zwornik" Association of Visual Artists, a group of colorist artists. He painted landscapes, genre scenes, portraits, and still lifes, and his works were often inspired by native folklore. After the war, he taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków.
