AWARDS: 2nd prize in the Second Polaroid International Photography Awards competition, 2000 The architecture of Warsaw are among Juliusz Sokołowski`s most favourite themes. The series ‘The City of Warsaw: A Reconstruction’ consists of twenty photographs, each captured on several Polaroid Polapan 55 P/N (4 x 5 inches) negatives. It was presented in the form of ten double-sided 2x5 m “banners” in the external gallery of the Palace of Culture and Science (the viewing terrace on the 30th floor).
