Katarzyna Harasym b. 1978 - Glass artist and designer. Graduate of the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław (2004) and the Fundació Centre del Vidre in Barcelona (2006-2008). She has held scholarship residencies in Lviv, Bilbao and Barcelona-OFF Massana. She has worked in several art glass studios in Spain. She has participated in many exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Laureate of the Glass Review 2011, a competition of the Corning Museum of Glass in New York. In 2023, her work 'Parachuter' qualified for the second stage of the Horbowy International Glass Competition in Wrocław. She works in lampwork technique, fusing and casting, often combining them together.
